Cornerstone Class. The Cornerstone Class is a mixture of all ages and backgrounds. Ministering to the needs of individuals on a day-to-day basis is an important goal of our class. The format of our class is an open forum based on in-depth preparation both by students and teacher. As a prelude to our class time we offer a social time where everyone can share together with conversation and refreshments. Teacher: Tom Umbel
Love Expressed. The Love Expressed class is primarily comprised of families with school age children; however, all adults are welcome. The class also provides many opportunities for fellowship, including “Dinner for 6” groups, family gym nights, and other social events throughout the year. Lessons are primarily video clip based. Teacher: Mark Peters.
New Beginnings. This class is studying a book by Eugene Peterson entitled Leap Over a Wall. They welcome you to join them for lively discussion and dialog. Teacher: Carlton McKay.
Upper Room. This class is made up of various adult age groups. Lessons are based on the Nazarene curriculum and involve in-depth discussion of scripture and its applications. The class emphasizes prayer for each other and reaching out to others in need. There are regular class social events. Teacher: Bruce McCaleb.
Young Married Couples. This class is geared toward married couples, ages 18-29. They are currently studying the Focus on the Family Video series A Biblical Portrait. Teachers: Lance and Jen Howard.
Kinetic. Our age group is a little complicated. We have high school seniors, as well as those 18 and over up to age 25. However, once you work that out you realize the goal of Kinetic is actually what matters. We want to be an active, giving part of our congregation. We have a weekly coffeehouse in addition to our Sunday Group. Currently we are walking through what God’s call on our lives can look like, and how it impacts how we give to our congregation. Teachers: Ryan and Jill Flynt.
