Homeschool Parents

If your family home schools children between Kindergarten and Grade 12 this group is for you. Most of the communication is done via an e-circle. For more information on getting involved contact Nell Houser.

“Seekers” Bible Study

This group seeks to find a deeper relationship with the Lord and follow his leading through the Scriptures. Group leaders are Sharon Schmidt and Lois Herbaugh.

Single Sisters

This fellowship group meets every Thursday at 10 AM at the North Academy Perkins Restaurant. Other activities, outings, game days, picnics and pot lucks are planned regularly. All single women are welcome! The co-leaders for this group is Ruth Crawford.

Classical Book Club

This women’s group will meet the first Friday of each month from 7 PM to 9 PM. A book chosen by the group will be read each month and discussed at the group meeting. The books selected will fall under biographies, historical fiction and books from authors that have stood the test of time. Meetings will rotate among the homes of members, who will provide soup, sandwich and desserts for members. Please register for the Book Club at the Women’s Ministry table. Nell Houser leads this group.

Mother/Daughter Needlework Circle.

This group meets at the home of Nell Houser on the fourth Friday of the month 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Come with your cross-stitch, needle point, embroidery and knitting projects. We will encourage and inspire each other in these Arts of Yesterday as we indulge in teach and cookies. For information contact Nell Houser.

Many Hands Quilt Ministry

Come and accept the invitation to send God’s word out into the world. All that is required is a wiling heart. This ministry is about making quilts with a Scripture on each one. The purpose is to provide warmth for someone, possibly in their greatest hour of need and most of all the hope and encouragement theyw ould receive by His Word. It takes many hands to do this work. Will you lend yours? This group is led by Patricia Stephenson.

Radical Christianity

Through the Word of God, we’ll be exploring what it means to really live the Christian life in accordance with the Bible while living in today’s society. Issues we’ll be discussing: practical Christian living, reaching out to neighbors near and far, and the “end time” events. This group is led by Douglas and Cordelia Kendall.

Women’s Volleyball

We meet on Monday nights starting at 6:30 PM. This group is open to women of all skill levels. You don’t have to be a pro to play with the group! Nikki Steiber leads this group.

Addictions Victorious

Addictions are burdens that come in many flavors and sizes. But that all have one thing in common: they prevent you from accepting your rightful position as a child and servant of God. But you can change your addictions and change the company you keep! Led by John McKane, this group meets each Friday at 7:00 PM.
